The objects in these still lifes are actual ceramic figurines based on Norman Rockwell’s original paintings which have been made back into paintings using Rockwell’s own technique. These mass-produced statuettes of varying sculptural quality were manufactured overseas and sold to the American public through Danbury Mint, Gorham, Goebel and others. Some were available in the Rockwell Museum gift shop.
